Before she hooked up with one of the world’s richest men, Jeff Bezos, a former news anchor, temporary entertainment reporter, and former "You Think You Can Dance" host Lauren Sánchez and another A rich and powerful man who has been married for more than ten years, the showbiz is a big hitter Patrick Whitesell, the executive chairman of talent and media giant Endeavour.

After successfully managing top talent at Creative Artists Agency for 6 years, Whitesell moved to Endeavor Talent Agency in his early years, where he continued to help Ari Emanuel plan the 2009 merger between Endeavor and William Morris. The entertainment company with many tentacles was originally called William Morris Endeavor, and was renamed Endeavor in 2017. Earlier this year, when Endeavor went public, Bloomberg reported that Emmanuel and Whitesell jointly controlled a value of nearly 8.4 Billion dollars in shares.

In 2006, Sánchez and Whitesell spent $11 million to purchase a closed, brand-new hilltop estate, occupying a barely existing dead end in the mountains above Beverly Hills. In the fall of 2017, Whitesell spent another $4.8 million to purchase a vacant property next door.

Soon after, the marriage ended in failure, and Sanchez filed for divorce the day after Bezos finalized the divorce in April 2019. Sharing with his ex-wife, the latter has just been listed for nearly 22 million US dollars. (Neighboring plots that are still vacant can be paid an additional $5 million.)

Kurt Rappaport’s Westside Estate Agency’s listing generously described the 1.27-acre urban landscape as “reminiscent of the South of France.” There are five bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms in the two-story main house. It is located on top of an underground garage that can accommodate six cars, and is separated from the two-story hotel and leisure pavilion.

The arched wooden door opens to the cobblestone sports field. The front door is located in a man-made porch, leading to a magnificent double-height foyer, where many materials from the entire house are displayed: travertine, wrought iron, rustic wooden beams and chalky stucco.

The formal living room is fixed by a carved stone mantel, which may or may not be antique, and extends into the flat grass backyard. The bar room has another possibly antique fireplace and thin, thick beams across the ceiling. But for inlaid wood floors, the dining room is a very ordinary dining room, and the huge wooden beams add features to the kitchen, with its golden-textured marble counters and brand-name appliances.

In addition to a comfortable study room for casual watching TV, there is also a professional cinema with leather lounge chairs. The master bedroom of the mansion features a castle-style fireplace, arched French doors leading to a stone terrace, two dressing rooms and two old bathrooms. A paneled study is adjacent to the master suite. At the far end of the backyard, a two-story hotel and leisure pavilion contains a game room, a fitness area and a high-end golf simulator.

The sunny backyard sits on a plateau with views of the city lights across the canyon mountains and canyon frame. It includes a covered dining terrace and outdoor kitchen, as well as a simple rectangular swimming pool and spa surrounded by grass. Hidden on the steep hillside below the house is a high-bed garden and an antique tree house-style writing hut or mediation studio.

Whitesell has moved out of the premises-the listing photos show that it was staged for the sale process-although he owns a number of other residential properties near Los Angeles, including a beach house in Santa Monica, he and Sánchez were close to 2013 Purchase at a price of 4.3 USD. Millions, he and his bride seem to have spent quite a long time in a seaside residence in Malibu. However, there are rumors that they have invested a huge fortune in a very impressive mansion in one of Los Angeles' most expensive and prestigious neighborhoods.

As for Sanchez, she now shares many of Bezos’s luxury homes around the world, including the Beverly Hills mansion that he bought from David Geffen worth US$165 million and the US$78 million Hawaiian Hideaway. Tax Records indicate that she is now the sole owner of a beach house outside Bezos. Located in Seattle on Mercer Island, she and Whitesell bought it for $6.2 million in 2017.
