Dave Portnoy of Barstool finally came to the Mid-Hudson area and conducted a “One Bite Review” of the “great pizza” he was told from Mid-Hudson Valley.

Dave Portnoy has become an Internet celebrity. He is the founder of Barstool Sports, a sports and popular culture website.

Portnoy's now famous "One Bite Reviews" started during a debate with a colleague in Boston. He agreed that if you can only eat one type of food for the rest of your life, then pizza is the best choice. Then he started to comment on pizza, and it became very popular, including his tagline "One bite. Everyone knows the rules."

Looking through his files, Portnoy has commented on pizza in the Lower Hudson Valley, but has never seen pizza in the Middle Hudson. Earlier this year, WRRV begged Portney to come to Datch County to review pizza.

Although we doubt whether he really read this article, Portnoy eventually came to pizza from the Mid-Hudson area. What does he think?

Portnoy was recently in Dachsch County and stopped by Pizzeria Posto in Rheinbeck to review their "great pizza".

What made Portnoy come to Chase County? In his words, "Apple picking season".

In early November, we reported on Portnoy picking apples at Greig Farm in Red Hook.

Portnoy wanted to eat pizza. He said that he searched for "good pizza" on Google and learned that Pizzeria Posto in Rheinbeck "is one of the highest-scoring restaurants around"

Pizzeria Posto opened in late November 2012. This is the creativity of Chef Patrick Amedeo. This restaurant prides itself on making unique wood-burning handmade pizzas.

Employees predict Portnoy will give their pizza a score of about 8.2.

Before taking a bite, Portnow called Rheinbeck a "beautiful town" and added that he was told that Rheinbeck was the "new Hampton".

"I don't know if I believe this, but this town is great. Walking on the street makes me hate living in the city, Portnoy said.

Portnoy glanced at the pie and called it "interesting."

As soon as he touched the pizza, he said he "can see" that he was going to have a look.

Then it was finally time to dig the pit.

Portnoy is famous for his "one bite" comments. But he obviously liked the taste very much, and he took a second bite without saying a word.

Then the third mouth.

It seemed that Porteno was ready to speak. Do not.

Now is the time to bite four, crust and five.

Then he finally spoke. "That's great!"

Before debating the score, Portnoy took another bite. "It's obviously one-eighth," he said. "It's not even a problem. Their 8.2 points are dead."

He said he wanted to exceed 8.2, but then checked the pie and said it was "a little sour".

After picking up the second piece and taking a bite, Portnoy was ready to score.

"This is 8.2," Portnoy scored. "They know their pizza very well. They know the exact score. This is a legal 8.2. Great score!"

Although the Hudson Valley has no place on the list, the area has recently received a lot of praise.
