No Impact week at L&R.A week to reduce our environmental impact. No impact week. From September 27 to October 1, make way for No Impact Week at L&R.The initiative launched by Adeline Stoltz, head of indirect purchasing within the laboratory, has been postponed several times due to the epidemic and the teleworking of employees during the pandemic period. It is therefore with joy that it was finally able to see the light of day at the start of autumn! The employees were randomly divided into 7 teams. The goal: to combine points throughout the week thanks to eco-responsible actions aimed at reducing the environmental impact at work.Only one team among the Eco Team*, the Green Team**, the Greens on foot, the Protect Team***, the green mice, the Greens you dare or the Greench will win the No impact week trophy!Verdict at the awards ceremony on Tuesday, October 5!The trophy, made of local wood by the Vosges wood turner, the Tournerie workshop and engraved in Saint-Dié, will be put back into play during the next edition. The winning team will make a donation to the Vosges Environnement association according to the height of its points.Challenges for everyone.Throughout the week, workshops are offered.Electric bikes are made available by the Maison du Vélo du Pays de Remiremont and each kilometer done by bike rather than by car earns points.A bonus is granted for journeys made on foot or by carpooling.A dressing room is organized to collect clothes that employees no longer wear. They will then be donated to an association.A panel of classified ads has been made available and makes it possible to promote the short circuit. Two common threads complete these challenges: employees are invited to let their artistic soul speak by completing the no impact week fresco.Better than printing a plastic banner! They can also tinker with recovered pallets to make a bench that will then be used in the company's garden. In order to involve homeless people dispersed in France, the challenge "give a second life to an object" rewards, thanks to a voting system, the most beautiful achievements of rehabilitation of an object intended for the trash.Awareness is the key word this week. Thus advice on the home screen allows employees to realize the impact of innocuous and daily actions such as, for example, the use of disposable coffee pods or plastic water bottles.Reusable water bottles have been distributed to employees and they are encouraged to use their thermos for hot drinks instead. The Rando'Nett association provided the material for the challenge, "Let's clean up nature".In groups or individually, employees are invited to pick up waste around the building or in a corner of nature of their choice.Evodia led the “My office 0 waste” workshop to re-explain waste sorting and how recycling works in the Vosges. The company also takes part in an anti-waste workshop during the employees' lunch.Participants will be able to have lunch and self-analyze their meal to try to limit waste and the production of waste.Mamie & Co offers a Do It Yourself**** workshop for the development of natural household products.Lohmann & Rauscher Laboratories in a nutshell. In the heart of the Thomas Parouty, French entrepreneur and founder of Agence Mieux. It is inspired by Colin Beaven, who had the idea of supporting his family for 1 year with the least possible impact on the environment. After having applied it to his personal and family life, he applies the same thing in his company (Agence Mieux), in order to make his employees aware of the challenges of sustainable development.Today the idea extends to companies wishing to invest in sustainable development by raising awareness among employees, and by implementing simple, more sustainable actions in a sustainable way.Adopting this initiative also makes it possible to develop team spirit and optimize its operation while taking into account the environmental impact.Lohmann & Rauscher Laboratories in a
