Super absorbent dressing is a sterile dressing for use on heavily exuding wounds, consisting of an air permeable and waterproof nonwoven layer, a super absorbent pad layer and a hydro-penetrating nonwoven layer. The triple-layered construction facilitates fluid management to provide the optimal moist wound environment which leads to the promotion of faster wound closure. The absorbent pad provides superior absorption and locks exudates away. This minimizes the risk of maceration and damage to peri-wound skin.
 
Indications
Super absorbent dressing is indicated for the management of superficial, heavily exuding wounds. Exuding wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, arterial ulcers, venous leg ulcers and other wounds producing high levels of exudates. Super absorbent dressing can be used to absorb exudates under mild-to-moderate compression bandaging.
